Gismo Multimedia Center
Mr. Shusei Soga, president of Dispadio Design in Japan, designed the Gismo entertainment and multimedia center shown here to appeal to the new generation of young consumers. Dispadio Design visualizes a futuristic, interactive space for young consumers using LightWorks photorealism.
Mr. Soga relies on LightWorks photorealism to bring his designs to life. He produced these images of the Gismo center using Form•Z RadioZity from auto•des•sys Inc. and its integrated LightWorks radiosity processor and renderer.
Radiosity-generated lighting with LightWorks gives designers the ability to represent real-world lighting situations, for the highest standard of photorealism. LightWorks accurately simulates lighting effects for complex geometry, such as curved surfaces, and variations in lighting levels in a scene.
The Gismo center has been designed to make the display of music CDs, movies and multimedia titles appealing and easily accessible. Mr. Soga's futuristic interior design is targeted to the new generation of consumers, using design elements that attract and entice young buyers, such as the DJ booth facing the front road.
