"Users of our software get powerful rendering based
on the robust Lightworks components and what is more, the Lightworks
technical team are always very responsive with their technical
feedback."
Dominique Laffret, VP Strategic Partnerships
Lightworks has been integrated within TopSolid since 2002 but the two companies have an even longer historical association, as Lightworks was actually working with CN Industries back in 1995, before it was purchased by Missler Software. Missler chose to use Lightworks because the Company needed rendering capabilities for its TopSolid Image module. Integrating Lightworks was the logical consequence !
The ray-tracing and other rendering features within Lightworks are very useful to TopSolid users. However, the integratability of Lightworks is the most important feature as it means that changes made to the model can be made without needing to re-assign the materials.
