LightWork Design announces first Image Competition Results for 2009

LightWork Design, the world's leading supplier of rendering solutions for developers of advanced 3D computer graphics software, today announced the winner of the first LightWorks Image Competition of 2009.
The winning entry came from Aaron Smithey - Aaron is an Architectural Renderer based in Scottsdale, Arizona. He uses FormZ software from AutoDesSys with its integrated LightWorks rendering engine. He wins a 32GB iPod Touch for his kitchen design visualisation.
On hearing the news that he had won, Aaron commented, "I have been using Form-Z since 1994. Form-Z is a great modelling tool but is also a great rendering tool due to the integration of the LightWorks rendering engine. Over the years, LightWorks has continually enhanced its product making it one of the most photo-realistic rendering engines in the field. The LightWorks rendering engine has proven itself as an invaluable tool to me and my clients."
In addition, runners up prizes if iTunes vouchers have been awarded to:
Jeffrey Tomaka from New York, for his 'Mac Pro Workstation' image which was modelled in Cobalt andrendered using FormZ RenderZone;
Sam Moodie from Cheadle for his 'Hartley Hall, Victorian building' image created using ArchiCad.

Entry to the next quarter of the competition is now open and LightWorks users are encouraged to send in their entries before the closing date of 31st July 2009.
