LightWorks Developer News October 06
The latest release of LightWorks includes new technology which we think offers a step change in the way that photorealistic rendering will be used in CAD applications. Traditionally, physically based rendering has been associated with high-end applications aimed at 3D graphics professionals. In an attempt to provide easy to use rendering, CAD applications have used simpler solutions, but these often required a degree of expertise to achieve realistic results.

LightWorks now offers a physically accurate rendering solution which gives both very fast preview renders and high quality final images. When combined with catalogues of real-world materials and accurate light sources, this enables our customers to present easy to use, high quality rendering integrated within their CAD applications.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce the release of LightWorks 7.6 which incorporates enhancements to our LightWorks product, with a focus on making the creation of photorealistic imagery even easier.
