Welcome to the Lightworks page dedicated to Siggraph 2012 which will this year takes place in Los Angeles, California. from August 7 to 9.  As always the event is expected to be an exciting few days for the computer graphics industry and Lightworks is pleased to be taking an active part in the exhibition.

Visitors to the Lightworks Booth #1137 will be able to see demonstrations of the latest Lightworks technology:

Lightworks Artisan
Lightworks Artisan is the company's next generation product, based on Author rendering technology.  It is now available within a number of CAD applications and visitors will be able to see just how intuitive and simple to use Lightworks Artisan really is and how it can be used to improve workflow and help in the creation of high quality imagery.

Belight Software will be demonstrating Render Boost on the Lightworks booth.  Render Boost uses Lightworks Artisan to improve and simplify the rendering process within their Mac based Live Interior 3D product.

Partnership with AMD
Lightworks and AMD recently announced a partnershipwhich has enabled Lightworks to provide capability for stereoscopic 3D technology using AMD FirePro graphics cards.  This capability will be demonstrated within Lightworks Artisan at Siggraph and visitors will be able to see the improved performance now on offer.

Jon Peddie Research Press Luncheon
Lightworks are delighted to have been invited to take part in this renowned media event during Siggraph.  Lightworks CEO, Dave Forrester, will be part of the panel at the event debating "Doing more with multicore."
