This year we’ll be back at Develop3D Live, Warwick, for the second year. Held on the 15th April, it’s a great event that sees key players in the 3D industry taking the stand and stage to showcase 3D printing, modelling, CNC machining, rendering and many more technologies that continue to advance design, manufacture and engineering processes.
We’re excited to be attending and we’ll be showing off our impressive technology Iray®+ to the UK audience for the first time. It’s fantastic to have such an important, specialist event held in the UK; world-leading companies such as Dyson, SolidWorks, Jaguar Land Rover, Autodesk, The Foundry, DigitalForming, Techshop, GrabCAD, Dell, SpaceClaim will all be at this year’s event. We’re looking forward to watching talks from the likes of Al Peasland from Infiniti Red Bull Racing discussing the importance of technology in Formula One racing in his speech entitled ‘F1 Champions – the digital backbone of success.’
As well as watching the other interesting talks, our very own David Forrester, Lightworks CEO, will be giving a talk entitled ‘Too good to be true – the blurring of rendering and reality’ to be held in the Cinema Room at 12.20. In his speech Dave will talk about the advances in rendering software and computer power that mean that the holy grail of interacting with your 3D CAD model in a truly photorealistic environment is now within touching distance.
If you head to Stand 33, you’ll see Iray+ in action; we’ll be showing our Iray+ 3D Studio Max plug-in demo, developed to support the authoring process to create consistent, photorealistic visuals from design through to the point-of-sale. You can also find out how Iray+ can create stunning in-store and online product configuration experiences for luxury brands.
I look forward to seeing you there.
