Rendering Overview and Setup

Introduction

Iray for 3ds Max includes two renderers: Iray+ and Iray+ Interactive.

Iray+ delivers the best results, and is a good choice for Production Rendering Mode. Iray+ Interactive allows easier navigation with faster results and is a good choice as your ActiveShade Mode renderer. Iray+ also offers a Lighting Analysis mode that allows you to simulate and monitor the minimum and maximum lighting levels in your scene.
